Somewhere over the rainbow....

Yes, more Wizard of Oz inspired cards.....
I recently bought the retro style embossing folders set of Tim's and although I've never been a huge lover of embossing folders I am loving this rays one. I used it so much in the past couple of days. I went a bit mad with my spray inks on some watercolour paper here, loving bright colours at the moment.

As for this one, it is another stamp from the Oz Collage set from The Artistic Outpost. I have struggled coming up with an idea for the scarecrow so far but it was worth the wait, I really do like this one. The rays add such a nice feel to the background I find.

Check out The Artistic Outpost Blog and also their website for the latest stamps.

  1. Great work on your blog. Love the brightly coloured rays, just what we need now!

  2. I like them both!You did a wonderful job!!!

  3. I love how you made this card. The rays in the back look like the yellow brick road and have the straw color. Really cool stamps too!

  4. The Embossing folder looks great behind the scarecrow! Thanks for using Artistic Outpost images. Thanks for using Artistic Outpost images.

  5. Both cards are stunning - I would have walked by this embossing folder as it appears a bit nondescript but you have made it look amazing, love what you have done, the bright colours of the rainbow are amazing but I also like the vintage style of the second - but both are lush - thanks for sharing xxx

  6. Hi Anika. So nice meeting you at the Artsy Craft and just wanted to say hi and love your blog.
    Wishing you a wonderfull week.

  7. I just love these Wizard of oz cards! I also love how you used the rays folder on both but created two totally different looks. Spray inks on embossed water color paper? Doing!! Thanks for the inspiration :)
